Discipleship Ministry

 I'm Saved Now What?

Acts 11:25-26, Then Barnabus departed for Tarsus to seek Saul. And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

The last command Jesus gave to His followers was to "go and make disciples". But, just what does it mean to become a "disciple" of Jesus? Do I have to go to church? How can I know I'm saved? What do I do now that I'm a Christian?

For answers to those questions and more, DESATAR Ministry offers a 24 week discipleship class on the basics of the Christian life. Whether you're new to church or mature in the faith, you will be challenged and enriched through the Word and action of spiritual formation.

It's an exciting season we are in, as our discipleship class is currently being done through The CODE curriculum at our home cell groups, for free! These sessions are filled with sound biblical teaching to empower and transform the believer in any stage of their walk with Christ.

The Disciple: "A learner"; "one who follows ones teachings"; "to learn". The greek word indicates thought accompanied by endeavor. Thus we have, "one who thinks upon or considers the teachings of another and then puts forth the necessary effort or applies himself to put into practice the teachings or instructions he receives."

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself,

and take up his cross, and follow Me" -Matthew 16:24
